Terms and Conditions

Mac Flooring Australia Pty Ltd

1. Quotations and Acceptance

• All quotations provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

• A signed acceptance of the quotation or a formal written agreement is required before work commences.

2. Deposit and Payment Terms

• A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of the quotation to secure materials and schedule the project.

• The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

• Deposits are non-refundable if the project is canceled by the client after materials have been ordered or work has commenced.

• In the event of a cancellation by Mac Flooring Australia Pty Ltd, a full refund of the deposit will be provided.

4. Project Timelines

• Project timelines are estimates and may be subject to delays due to unforeseen circumstances, such as material availability or weather conditions.

• Clients will be informed promptly of any changes to the schedule.

5. Materials and Warranty

• All materials used are of high quality and sourced from trusted suppliers.

• Manufacturer warranties apply to all materials where applicable.

• Installation is covered by a workmanship warranty of:

• 6 months for commercial properties

• 12 months for residential properties

6. Site Access and Preparation

• The client is responsible for ensuring access to the site during agreed working hours.

• Areas must be cleared of furniture and other obstructions prior to the commencement of work unless otherwise agreed.

7. Liability

• Mac Flooring Australia Pty Ltd is insured for public liability. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing issues at the site or damages caused by external factors beyond our control.

8. Variations and Additional Work

• Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be communicated in writing and may result in additional costs and changes to the timeline.

• Additional work will only proceed with the client’s written approval.

9. Disputes and Resolution

• Any disputes must be raised in writing within 7 days of the project’s completion.

• Both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing legal action.

10. Termination of Agreement

• Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. Any costs incurred up to the termination date must be paid by the client.

11. Governing Law

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
